9-11am CST on ZOOM

This learning community is intended for therapists, counselors, and chaplains wanting to develop their antiracist practice and better understand themselves as racial beings. We focus on Whiteness at the personal, interpersonal, and systems level as the problem of racism. Through curated reading, writing, and discussion, we will move our learning communities beyond conversation toward productive antiracist practice. We will wrestle with what it means to be white in a white supremacist society. This course addresses cultural competency CEUs for licensure.

The Embodied Path to Better Inclusivity

Nov 7, 14, 21, 29

7-8:30pm CST on Zoom $350

This course leans on Ellie’s book, The Embodied Path, and Yi Shun’s successful inclusivity workshops. Classes will address diversity, equity, inclusivity, and accessibility (DEIA) work and our very physical reactions to this kind of awareness; and how we can put those to work to effect change in our personal, professional, and social lives. Build allyship, psychological safety, and inclusivity in our lives through embodiment and reflection.

YOGA!

Mondays 9:30am & Thursdays noon at Up Yoga.

Watch for social media posting on yin & soundbath and other workshops!
