Wellness & Resiliency Workshops

Tiny Things

Do you want to create more space in your life? Do you want to feel more present at work? The Tiny Things Wellness Workshop supports you to cultivate a daily tiny practice to build intentionality and calm in your mind and body. In a world that tells you to do more, buy more, produce more and consume more, a tiny things practice helps us address overwhelm so we can stay rooted in what is important.

Workshops are customized to meet your needs, but may include:

  • Practices to build self-compassion and resiliency
  • Time to breathe, reflect, and check in with your body
  • Success stories from the 12 Tiny Things community
  • Examples of tiny things to try on
  • Ways to build tiny things into your work life, family and community

In addition to drawing from Ellie’s book 12 Tiny Things and Journal, she will incorporate free, downloadable resources like a Daily Calendar, Tiny Tools, and Meditations to support you working tiny things into your daily life.

“I have been in ministry for over 25 years and have attended countless retreats and conferences. It is rare to encounter a facilitator who embodies deep knowledge, lived experiences, authentic empathy and exceptional communication skills. Ellie brings all of this, plus a passion for her work, to practitioners who need it now more than ever. I am beyond grateful.”

Joyce DeGreef

“Ellie Roscher is real. Her authenticity heals and inspires. It is what young adults are yearning to find. It is what we need to resist conflict that diminishes us. I was surprised by how life-giving her stories and her suggestions for mind, body and spirit integration were for me. I highly recommend the books and workshops offered by this lively yet gentle prophet.”

“I’ve never done anything like this before, mostly because something else always seems to demand more immediate attention than the slow, intentional work of cultivating faith and a sustainable existence. Ellie helped us consider various ways in which our lives, faith, work, and community intersect. We worked on building small, sustainable faith practices into our daily lives – so small that they could become habits and rituals, helping regular life to grow into something to treasure rather than something to escape from. I realize now that this slow, intentional work is essential to cultivating a healthy and more balanced life.”

Writing & Movement Workshops

As an author and yoga teacher, Ellie loves to pair writing, breath work and movement in a way that invites us to inhabit our bodies and experience deeper embodiment. In this workshop, Ellie will lead participants through simple breath work, body movement, writing prompts and discussion to unlock and explore our bodies. Honoring our body stories can increase our own sense of freedom and agency. Reflective writing paired with moving your body releases and sloughs off that top layer of stress and emotion so that you can live and work from a deeper sense of self, reacting less and responding more. Pairing movement and writing as a regular practice can bring a sense of ease in your body and mind, benefitting you and those around you.

Workshops are customized to meet your needs, but may include:

  • Meditation
  • Guided Journaling
  • Small Group Discussion
  • Large Group Wisdom Sharing
  • Restorative and Yin Yoga

There are stories living and breathing under our skin. In community, let’s turn toward our bodies with curiosity and reverence on our path toward deeper embodiment, healing, and wholeness.

Ideal Audience: Women’s Writing Groups, Yoga Studios, Youth Athletic Clubs, Young Adult Groups, Active Parent Groups

Previous Hosts Include: The Loft Literary Center | Smith College | The Collegeville Institute | LuLuLemon Mall of America | University of Minnesota Lutheran Campus Ministry | American Ice Theater | Up Yoga
